Some BlackArrow features process more data than others, which can cause slowdowns, regardless of your computer's settings.
The Volume Profile and Visual Book indicators, as well as tools such as Volume At Price and Times & Trades, may take longer than expected to finish loading, varying according to the asset and the period filtered for display, and affecting the performance of the platform in its entirety.
Suggested procedures
- The number of open windows can also affect the overall performance of BlackArrow. Close windows you are not currently using.
- Reduce the filtered period of windows in use. Right-click on the tools to open the Properties window. On the Settings tab, select Interval. Use the current date for the start and end fields:
You can also check the window for active filters by looking at its title bar.
In the example below, Times & Sales displays the Starting today information, indicating no filter:
- Remove custom languages from your platform as these may be affecting how it works.
First, export the language so you don't lose it when you remove it.
Regarding the persistence of the behavior, try using the platform in a new and clean layout.
