The Market Replay is a feature that allows you to select a specific previous trading day for analysis purposes.
It uses the traded price at the time of the order, without considering the order book and liquidity conditions present in real-time. The Replay loads data of all trades and transactions made on the requested day.
To access the Replay, go to the Tools menu:
By default, the Replay opens in a centralized position on the screen, allowing the user to move it freely within the platform. In Display Modes, you can also choose the Compact or the Player mode:
Click on the asset's ticker to search for a single asset, and click on the calendar icon to select the desired previous date. Then, click on Request and start the replay.
When requested, the Replay opens a new tab in the asset bar, and a yellow banner appears at the top of the window. Below is an example in the chart window:
Using the Advance button, you can speed up the Replay by up to 10 times:
Use the button to pause and
to advance trade by trade.
Click on to advance the replay to a specific future time:
Notes:
-
The Replay request is made for one asset at a time, and it is not possible to make multiple simultaneous requests.
-
It will request the trades based on the asset's trading hours; however, it may execute some of the trades from the day prior to the request.
