The New York session (U.S.) begins around 1:00 PM GMT and significantly overlaps with the European session, leading to high activity and volatility, as well as more attractive and narrower spreads.
Keep in mind that these times may vary due to daylight saving time changes, local holidays, or other factors. Additionally, even outside of the overlap periods, the currency market never fully closes, allowing traders to access the market across different time zones. Given the market's high volatility, it is important to be aware of time changes and the influence of the different sessions when planning your trades.
