The Alert Manager is a tool that allows you to set price alerts and strategy alerts. With it, you can request the system to notify you when an asset reaches a specific price level or when a configured strategy condition is met. Additionally, you can link alerts to technical studies, enabling you to know the exact moment when a trendline is broken, for example.
It is not necessary to have the asset’s chart open for the alerts to trigger when the activation condition is met.
To access the Alerts Manager, go to the Tools menu:
The Alert Manager, in the All tab will display all previously created alerts, if any, along with their details: the asset linked to the alerts, the trigger price, the percentage variation, the associated message, and the alerts type.
You can also check alerts based on their activity status in the Enabled and Disabled tabs. In the Triggered tab, you can view alerts that have already been activated.
The New alerts button allows you to create alerts.
To delete an alerts, select the alerts and click Delete Alert. A confirmation message will be displayed.
Types of Alerts
The tool allows for the configuration of several alert categories:
Asset: Breakout
Choose the Alert Type for the asset, such as a breakout. Specify the asset that the alert will monitor. In the Breakout at % Price Change field, you can specify a more sophisticated trigger condition. In this case, the alert will be triggered when the price deviates by a certain percentage from the specified price.
In the Alert Sound, select the sound for the alert trigger. Choose the Price that will trigger the alert and the Alerts Message that will be displayed when the alert is activated.
After configuring, click Ok.
You can also add a new asset alert by right-clicking on the chart and clicking Add Alert.
Asset: Reversal
Select the chart interval (time frame) in which you want the Reversal Alert to be triggered. In a downtrend, the alert will trigger if the current price is higher than the price set in the alert. For an uptrend, the alert will trigger if the current price is lower than the value set in the alert.
Strategies
You can select from some of the pre-implemented standard strategies, such as: Moving Average Crossover, Exponential Moving Average Crossover, IRF, or go to Create Alert.
To create a new rule, a window will open for rule configuration, as shown in the image below:

Goal

There is also an option to check the Auto Reset box, which allows the same alert to be reactivated after the previous one has been completed.
News
Select the relevance of the news, the asset you want to monitor or all, the agency to be monitored, the linked category, and filters.
To create a filter, click on the gear symbol and configure your filter by clicking on Add Filter and filling in the fields as desired: filter name, with all words, with the exact phrase, with any of the words, or without the words. After configuring, click OK. The filter will appear to be selected in Filters. To delete a filter, click the X next to the filter name in the configuration screen.
Finally, select the alert sound and color. Then click Ok.

Crossing
Breakout alerts can be set directly in studies and are preferably used on Price Level.
The indicator can be enabled after adding the study by right-clicking on it and selecting Breakout Alert:
When we add the Breakout Alert, it will be listed in the Alert Manager under the All tab. However, if the alert is triggered upon meeting the specified condition, it will only be listed under the Triggered tab.
This history has a limit of 50 triggered alert, meaning that when the limit is exceeded, older triggers are replaced by new ones.
