Charts and indicators are the main tools used in technical analysis, which seeks to predict the future direction of the market by observing repetitive patterns in price movements.
The charts available on BlackArrow offer intuitive and customizable features, along with advanced tools for fast and accurate analysis.
To add a new chart to your workspace, navigate to the Tools menu and click on New Chart. Alternatively, click on the Chart button, highlighted in the image below in yellow.
How to Configure
Open new tabs in the chart window by clicking the plus sign (+) or directly on the asset tab with a right-click to switch, add, or remove the asset.
Customize the appearance and parameters of graphic components, add color rules, execution strategies, and exclusive indicators using the top menus of the chart window and by clicking on objects with the mouse buttons.
To show or hide the quick access tools, click on the clock icon in the top left tab of the window.
Through the quick access tools, you can open the studies bar on the left side of the window, change the interval and chart type, insert indicators, adjust the zoom, show or hide orders and positions, access properties, and open or close Chart Trading.
In the Intervals menu, select the desired chart time from the list, or click on More time intervals... to open the additional menu.
Change, remove, or add timeframes, assets, and indicators by clicking on the top tab of the chart, on the ticker, or by typing to search.
Insert indicators to your chart by clicking the Indicators button. To access more indicators options, click on More Indicators.
Some indicators do not have the plotting function and are exclusively opened in individual windows.
It is important to note that only the BlackArrow Free, Pro, and Ultra versions allow unlimited indicators per chart. The BlackArrow One version, however, allows a maximum of 6.
It is also possible to add indicators, color rules, and trade strategies directly on the chart.
To do this, right-click on the chart background to open the auxiliary options window.
The Automatic chart type, which follows the platform's initial settings, is the default Candlestick.
In the Chart Types menu, select between Candlestick, Cluster, Bar, Mountain, Line, Elliot, Heikin Ashi and more.
Additional Features and Details
By clicking the More Options icon, you will access the PlayNow feature, which offers video tutorials providing detailed information on the functionalities available in each tool.
On the right side of the chart, you have the Price Scale, where you can track the market's price movement.
The horizontal scale, at the bottom of the chart, refers to the Time Scale.
