Similar to Stochastic RSI, the DT Oscillator uses the average inversion method. In other words, when the two lines of the indicator meet this will indicate a Buy or Sell signal.
To add the DT Oscillator to your Chart, right-click on the chart and go to Add Indicator.
DT Oscillator is composed of two parallel moving averages that have distinct parameters. They are called SK and SD lines.
Besides that, it is possible to set a Stochastic period to the indicator. To do so, right-click on the indicator and access the Parameters tab.
In the example below, the Stochastic Interval is set to 12, the SD Line is set to 20 and the SK Line is set to 10:
Main Purpose
The indicator will use the period of the Stochastic RSI as a reference to perform moving average crossovers based on the previously configured periodicity and the chart's candle timeframe.
Each moving average crossover aims to highlight situations that indicate the market trend at a given moment, assisting the investor in making decisions according to the asset and portfolio.
